The book Heaven by Randy Alcorn is a good collection of essays on what a Christian has to look forward to.

I am eager to meet my children who have not made it to delivery, to raise them among the most universally loving, massive family in a time and place where there remain no more tears.

Simultaneously we will exist without the boundaries of time and sleep requirements.
When I want to learn to play the piano, I can sip wine with Bach and hammer out some lines.
Time to play baseball? Orel Hershiser can teach me to throw a pitch.

The engineers won’t stop engineering, and the men and women who tinker on the margins will now be set fully free to make and dream and design and build and share inventions without end.

The conquest of the stars is inevitable, and it has always been the plan of the God who made us. Skiing down Mt Olympus on a terraformed Mars is going to be delightful.

I think the most likely explanation is that it’s some foreign power with drones messing with us and/or planning an attack, and the dual citizens in charge of everything are either asleep at the switch again, as usual, or know exactly what’s going on and are letting it happen in the hope of getting a false or green flag that’ll let them cancel the election. Evil as hell but I’d put nothing past these motherf***ers at this point.

One thing must be noted…our conception of physics may not be the end of the matter. We must remember how much was said to be “impossible” for man to achieve (atomics, antibiotics, flights, hypersonic weaponry, and a whole lot more).

It is perfectly conceivable that we have not accounted for the entirety of physics…and others have. Give another species of equivalent intelligence to humanity a 10000 year headstart and of course your going to see shit that seems magical.
