“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Monday morning termite terminating

by | Aug 19, 2024 | Mondays | 1 comment

Monday just does NOT get any easier, no matter how relaxing your weekend was. Today started off with a conference call replete with IT issues, wherein one of the participants glitched out several times, leaving us to interpolate what he said. It wasn’t his fault, of course, but you could tell, this was going to be one of the Mondayest Mondays that has ever Mondayed.

So let us get on with making it better, by talking about termites.

Yes, they are terrifying little buggers:

They also are capable of truly incredible architectural wonders – provided you kill them all first, before you explore them:

But, if you have a termite infestation – you need to get rid of them, and FAST. So how do you do it?

As with so many other things that creep and crawl – termites are fascinating, but also terrifying.

The Mighty God-Emperor

His Most Illustrious, Noble, August, Benevolent, and Legendary Celestial Majesty, the God-Emperor of Mankind, Donaldus Triumphus Magnus Astra, the First of His Name, the Lion of Midnight, may the Lord bless him and preserve him, did a two-hour discussion with Brolon MuZk on a Twitter Spaces appearance, and it was genuinely a fascinating discussion:

The Trumpasaur followed that up by releasing what HAS to be, HANDS DOWN, the most epic dance video in history:

#BasedTucker is Based

That interview with Rob Schneider is really great – and it ends truly beautifully, with a moment of prayer and praise for Jesus Christ, who is Lord.

Dawn of Battle

The Male Brain gets us off to a quick start today. We begin with one from Honest Ads that will help clean up the fog of stupidity that afflicts us all on a Monday:

Sabine Hossenfelder starts out admirably by saying she no longer trusts scientists – which is a Good Thing – but then turns around and says she reckons Global Climate Cooling Man-Made Warming Change is NOT a hoax – incoherent, much?:

She is correct not to trust scientists. They are only human, after all. However, her premise is technically a false one.

Never forget that “the -ism is not the -ist”, to quote one of the favourite aphorisms of Our Beloved and Dreaded Supreme Dark Lord (PBUH) Voxemort the Most Malevolent and Terrible. To translate somewhat more prosaically, do not confuse science with scientists.

We must always keep in mind that “science” is not one monolithic definition of a process or idea. It is in fact FOUR different things:

  1. Scientody, the scientific method of hypothesis, experimentation, observation, refutation or acceptance;
  2. Scientage, the body of available and testable scientific knowledge;
  3. Scientistry, the profession of science – that is to say, what scientists do;
  4. Scientism, the religion of science fetishism that has taken over much of the world today;

The problem with modren “science” is that it has turned into scientism – a religious dogma that elevates its practitioners to some sort of high priesthood. This is a status they categorically DO NOT DESERVE, and have done NOTHING to earn.

All we have to do to understand how broken and useless scientism is as a dogma, is to look back at what the so-called “medical profession” did to all of us during the Scamdemic. It took the Russian invasion of Ukraine to break that idiocy apart.

As for Ms Hossenfelder, she has a serious problem on her hands, because she believes in the dogma of Climate Global Man-made Cooling Change Warming, and that is inherently anti-scientific, because there is no way to refute the hypothesis. The ability to test and refute hypotheses is the foundation of the scientific method. Yet the climate is ALWAYS changing – the Earth is a highly dynamic system – and we do not have the tools or historical data records to fully comprehend by how much humans are affecting those changes.

PyscHacks has a good one herre about how the self-help business is all about telling wammenzes what they want to hear:

Yestervid analyses that legendary scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, wherein King Arthur confronts a set of wise-ass peasants, and they figure out really quickly that he is in fact a king:

The Film Theorists attempt to figure out how to kill Wolverine, whose healing factor and adamantium-bonded skeleton make him effectively unkillable:

Just one problem with this – the Marvel writers did, in fact, figure out a way to kill him, by infecting him with a virus that gets rid of his healing factor, then covering him with liquid adamantium, which hardened and suffocated him to death.

Of course, Marvel revived him back to life almost immediately after that, so what do I know…

Pursuit of Wonder explains a rather problematic paradox from the mind and pen of George Orwell:

Rulings from the Bench

Judge Nap has apparently been put in YOOTOOB jail, because he insists on thinking for himself and inviting on guests who take the Derp State to task. Nonetheless, he did manage to get quite a few great guests on for his shows last week. We start with Maj. Scott Ritter, who explains why the Fibbies raided his home, and what they tried to do:

Chin-Wagging

Nima Alkhorsid from Dialogue Works talks to Pepe Escobar about whether the Russian General Staff set a trap for Ukraine in the Kursk region:

Bad Medicine

Dr. John Campbell is not at all pleased about the lack of compensation for Coof clot-shots that have left over 14,000 people – THAT WE KNOW OF, because they filed claims – disabled and unable to have a decent or normal life:

The not-vaxxes were an absolute crime against humanity. I lost contact with friends, and my relationships with my own family were put under severe strain, because I refused to bend the knee and get the clot-shots. Today, I am healthy, strong, and robust – while many of those who took the poison death shots, have severely weakened immune systems, and struggle to deal with persistent health issues.

This goes right back to that diatribe against scientistry above – the people who committed this genocidal crime, should be tried and SHOT for what they have done.

We could not do better than by starting with that malignant little dwarf, Fraudci, whose criminality is off the charts, and who is up to his EYEBALLS in the blood of all those he has killed.

But these “scientists” will not face justice in this life, because HOH-LEE SAYENCE!!!!!!

Fortunately, we of the Christian faith can at least take comfort in the fact that their torment will be ETERNAL in the next life. God is not blind to this injustice – and He will repay.

Dr. Suneel Dhand has some very harsh truths about the medical profession, and rightly so:

Warriors of Faith

Tha Dizzle explains how the Izzlamist fake moon-god has to be the most incompetent revealer of Scripture ever, given how he managed to let people corrupt the supposedly incorruptible revelations:

Dr. Jay Smith from PfanderFilms and Al-Fadi from CIRA International expose the historical reality of Mo’Lester the Paedophile Profit, who almost certainly was NOT an actual historical figure, but was more likely a composite of various actual people:

Sam Shamoun and Jay Dyer took part in a debate with Daniel the Pikachu and Ijaz Ahmed on the channel of one of the guys from Fresh & Fit – I think that is Myron, the actual Izzlamist Wakandan. The debate was on two topics – Tawhid (Izzlamick “monotheism”) versus Trinity, and the accuracy and preservation of the Gospels versus that of the Koran.

It did NOT go well for the Izzlamists:

That is not MY verdict, to be clear. Izzlamick channels have been reacting in despair to the performance of two of their supposedly “brightest” lights – who are actually quite dim bulbs, because they know neither their own “revelations”, nor the actual ones from Christianity.

The reality is, Muzzies CANNOT defend their own ridiculous scriptures, because all you have to do is point out a few basic errors of history, logic, and doctrine, and their whole stupid house of cards immediately collapses. They then have to invent ever more absurd epicycles to defend that doctrine, but that does nothing for them.

Manly Men of Manliness

Terrence Popp explains why you should not go back to your ex, using the example of Ben Affleck, who might be a great actor and director, but is plainly quite dumb when it comes to women:

hoe_math analyses the disaster of modern dating using cool hand-drawn pictures:

The Modern King provides some rather amusing highlights of women thinking they can do whatever men can – and getting absolutely owned:

Manosphere Highlights Daily has some rather sad stories to show us of Chinese “leftover women” travelling to Amerikhastan to freeze their own eggs – because they are unable or unwilling to find a man to settle down with in China, a country grappling with a severe set of fertility and demographic crises:

Burn Paedowood to the Ground

Midnight’s Edge watches the latest film in the Alien(s) franchise, and is NOT impressed:

All I can say is… who cares any more?

Gary from Nerdrotic applies Kamalogic to Hollyweird to see if it can be saved:

The Critical Drinker tries, and fails, to take the new Borderlands film seriously, because apparently it is AWFUL:

Reading Too Much Into Things

Your Science is F***ing Weird moment of the week is about a possible resolution to a major and ongoing debate about exactly how fast the Universe is expanding:

Given the importance and also the difficulty in making these measurements, scientists test them with different methods to make sure they’re as accurate as possible.

One major approach involves studying the remnant light from the aftermath of the Big Bang, known as the cosmic microwave background. The current best estimate of the Hubble constant with this method, which is very precise, is 67.4 kilometers per second per megaparsec.

The second major method, which Freedman specializes in, is to measure the expansion of galaxies in our local cosmic neighborhood directly, using stars whose brightnesses are known. Just as car lights look fainter when they are far away, at greater and greater distances, the stars appear fainter and fainter. Measuring the distances and the speed at which the galaxies are moving away from us then tells us how fast the universe is expanding.

In the past, measurements with this method returned a higher number for the Hubble constant—closer to 74 kilometers per second per megaparsec.

Your long read of the week is from Byron King, via Grandpa Grumpuss, talking about how Ukraine is truly a totally lost cause, doomed for failure and destruction:

Let’s get real, though: whether it’s 1,000 troops, or 2,000 or 4,000, and whether it’s two dozen tanks, etc. or three or five dozen, that’s not enough to invade Russia. (Ask Napoleon.)

Per other accounts, it appears that Ukrainian forces crossed the border into Russia and followed the road grid. They drove straight up the main highway until they met resistance from border troops, and thus had to stop and fight. And this was how far? Six miles, per BBC, or perhaps more but not much more. Again, it’s not enough to invade Russia.

Meanwhile, what’s the logistical plan? How will Ukraine keep its thousand (or whatever) troops and couple dozen vehicles supplied with fuel, ammunition, food, other supplies? Is the idea perhaps to stop at roadside Lukoil convenience stations and gas up? And considering that this is a combat action, what of medical evacuation of wounded? Yeah, right; good luck.

Frankly, it’s difficult to see any military logic to this Ukrainian incursion, other than to grab headlines for a few days with a tactical PR stunt. But even that hasn’t worked, considering that European and much global media are focused on the Paris Olympics, while U.S. media are consumed with presidential politics. Ukraine? Huh? What?

At higher levels of military thought, what’s the operational method here? That is, what is Ukraine’s goal with this assault, other than to send troops on a suicide mission, kill some Russians, and lose a bunch of irreplaceable equipment?

I’ve seen media speculation that Ukraine intended its forces to seize a Russian nuclear power plant near Kursk; but from the map it’s a long reach, about 75 miles away.

I’ve seen other speculation that Ukraine’s move might force Russia to shift troops away from other areas of the current front lines in the southeast. Well, no because Russia has nearly half a million combat troops – yes, an entire other army – in reserve positions scattered across the western part of the country, not currently engaged with Ukraine along the lines of contact.

And as for strategic effect? Well, not to put too fine a point on things, but this Ukrainian attack is in the order of magnitude of zero. It changes nothing and looks kind of foolish in the process.

At strategic levels, the outcome of this Russia-Ukraine conflict is already decided. Russia has far more people than Ukraine and can raise a much larger army. Russia has more and better military systems; tanks, artillery, etc. And Russia’s logistics effort is right next door, based on internal lines of communication, well-developed road and rail corridors, and well-practiced military hierarchies that date back to the Crimean War of the 1850s.

Indeed, as previously noted, for Ukraine the war is over except for all the fighting and dying. Although it’s fair to ask, if the war is “over,” then why isn’t it yet finished? How do things conclude? Well, all in due time.

Hey Didactic, I hope you are doing well my friend.

    I have a few questions

On the subject of China demographics. If a Chinese government ask you could put any suggestions on what solutions what might you list?
Also do you think Christianity if adopted by the Elites and laws enforce, could this help the demographics in the long run?
Also why is it that a lot of Chinese women want date or marry non Chinese men? Is demographic a part of the issue, ie too many Chinese men and not enough Chinese women? Could it be as I have hear many cases the mother pushing them to find mostly white men? Mind you it is mainly Chinese women in their late 20s and 30s I have meet, might have to do with not having luck in China they search else where?

I had this Chinese woman in her late 20s at Church, she treated me better than any other woman I have dated. She brought me gifts and write me thank you letters after I took her out on dates, She would say many nice things about me. She would dress very feminine and She loved the Lord and we would talk about the Bible. She has now gotten marriage to a Chinese Husband and I am very happy for her. The next best women was a Korean woman. Also Japanese have been very pleasant to be around and date. Mind you I live in Australia so it is mostly European or Asians here, unless you go to Sydney or Melbourne.

But anyway I don’t know why but I often have better conversations with Asian women, especially north east ones that dress very conservative. Funny things is that they don’t get angry when I talk to them about Jesus and God. So many White women get angry on the topic and especially emotional. Maybe it is the pill, Korean women (3%), Japanese (0.9%), Chinese (14%) vs Australian (40%) probably higher for whites since many non white do not take it, English (45%) and American women (64%). It could also be IQ, on average North East Asians are higher than whites (mind you the White Europeans in Europe it is about the same). https://x.com/RankingRoyals/status/1701291763787506026

I am coming to Europe soon, I am dating a few women while I am over there. What are your thoughts on Swedish, Swiss, English, Polish and/or Bulgaria‎n women (less than 3% on the Pill, and fewest Covid shots)? Do you think any other countries I should explore?
