so, the counter sniper teams WERE NOT in position before the rally opened. they were sent up onto the roof mere minutes before everything went sideways WHILE TRUMP WAS SPEAKING and can be seen in video from crowd setting up.

therefore, almost certainly sent up on the roof as part of the response of there possibly being an issue from the neighboring property.

which means that the HNIC had so much warning time that multiple sniper teams had time to climb from the ground to a roof and emplace to a full bench rest position with scopes on target before the sitution ever got to the live fire scenario.
.
which means that there was ample time to clear Trump from the stage, but that HNIC chose to not ever give that order or even warn Trump that there might be a threat.

i’ve got a pic of perp after getting counter sniped. the whole right side of his face is layed open like somebody slashed him with a razor. so this was likey the CT team on the roof behind Trump that was seen from the camera that was stage left from Trump. the bullet that did that had to be pretty close to on-axis with the direction that the sniper was facing.

the real incriminating point in this is that Trump wasn’t cleared from the stage a good 30 seconds before the sniper opened up. a cop had time to climb the ladder and pop his head over the edge of the roof ( and duck back down because sniper fanned him with the rifle ) and there’s internet commentary from a guy who claims to have been part of the SWAT counter sniper team that took him out that they had the perp scoped for well over a minute and could NOT get the Secret Squirrel HNIC to give them a green light.

but you don’t have to wait for the CS team to get a green light to clear the asset from public view. which, in fact, should be standard protocol that if you have reports of a possible risk issue on a nearby ROOF/WINDOW that the asset immediately be secured until such time as the possible issue is secured and/or neutralized.
