“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Friday T&A: Codecog Edition

Yes, I know, it is not actually Friday. The past week was (of course) stupidly busy, and while I realise that is a rather worn excuse, the fact is, when you are up until past midnight trying to get an SQL script to run, because you have a severe and incurable case of Rubik’s Complex, your ability to do much of anything else goes straight out the window.

It is rather a good thing for me, I suppose, that I enjoy coding, as a general rule. As I have noted before, I can code in a number of different languages – though not, I hasten to add, particularly well in any of them. I am by no means an elite-level programmer – I simply know enough, and am sufficiently technically adept, to be able to do things a hell of a lot faster than most people, through automation and a bit of sense.

So when presented with a challenge involving figuring out how to take an Excel spreadsheet (that I built), with several hundred lines of VBA code, and about 30 tabs, which runs a complex financial model, and translate that into SQL and R or Python… well, let’s just say, I relish that sort of thing.

Switching gears slightly – have any of y’all seen the Olympics opening ceremony in Paris?

It was degeneracy and LGBTQWTFISTHISSHIT nonsense on STEROIDS AND HGH. I did not watch any of it, of course – I have been singularly uninterested in the Olympics since, basically, 2000 – but I was genuinely surprised at how bad things have become in France, or at least, in Paris. The whole place seems to be just one giant cesspit of toxic homosexuality, immigrants, Izzlam, sewage, rats, and filth.

I know several Russians who have been to France. One of them was there some 7 years ago. She cannot recognise Paris anymore, and is horrified by what it has become. The Russians, correctly in my view, now regard mainland Europe with a mix of contempt and revulsion. They no longer want anything to do with Europe, and rightly so. As far as they are concerned, Europe offers nothing but degeneracy and madness, and they want no part of that in their country.

Russia is a complex and vast nation, with a lot of its own problems. Tolerance of homosexuality, paedophilia, and extreme mental illness, is not one of those problems.

Keeping that in mind, let us introduce this week’s lovely lady. This here is Yuliya Polyachikhina (Юлия Полячкихина), age 24 from Chebokrasy, a decent-sized city of about half a million people to the southeast of Moscow. She was Miss Russia 2018, and competed in the Miss Universe pageant of the same year.

Given what we just saw coming out of Paris, she serves as a classy and refreshing dose of much-needed eye-bleach after those horrors.

Happy weekend, gents.
