He will be death in the ring if the fight goes to the ground, but one thing we tend to see with BJJ hyper-specialists, is that their striking really stinks. Demian Maia was the classic case in point - absolute legend of BJJ, a true grandmaster of the art, but his striking was always awful. Same with Khabib - absolute beast as a grappler, because of his sambo background, but a terrible striker, particularly early in his career.

It will be fascinating to watch what happens if Kade gets pitched in against a striking specialist. Styles make fights, as they say - a seasoned striker who can defend takedowns, will present a very interesting match-up against a BJJ prodigy with limited striking experience.

It’s easy to tie your opponents into knots when they have the collective intelligence of a rutabaga.

The cockney review of the Tyson match is hilarious to listen to, I had to do a good bit of rewinding while saying "wait, what?"

"they see me rollin..." frequent guest star Kade Ruotolo will be hitting the ONE 167 in June, should be fun:

Right on with Mint Blitz's video on skill-based matchmaking. That's one "innovation" from the original XBOX that I've hated from the day it came out in Halo 2, since it's become the system that every multiplayer game ever from that point forward used. On PC, where matchmaking wasn't the standard and you needed to either host your own server or pick one off a list, my friends and I used to love crashing random servers and either destroying or being destroyed by randos, or just messing with everyone. We made a ton of e-friends that way. It was either a great learning experience - if you got your ass handed to you by a team that was clearly better than you, you'd watch the replay and try to understand why they won and adapt their tactics - or a great way to blow off steam by stomping on a bunch of n00bs. It also made the ones that came down to the wire much more memorable.

Now every match is like that, and it's frustrating. Unless you like measuring your d!ck against other nerds, having every game turn into a sweaty try-hard event completely sucks the fun out of it.

I'm pretty sure you're spot-on with your take on Assange. If they were going to let him live out his days peacefully, they would have given up long ago, just to get him out of any news cycle and off people's radar. But the fact that they haven't just taken him out or disappeared him to a black site pretty much convinces me that they are trying to, mentally, spiritually, etc, etc, etc, destroy him in the most drawn out, morbid way they can. They can ruin him and also think that they can scare off others from coming out and doing anything similar.

They don't take into account all the suicides that are a result. That number added to the total would make it quite a bit more startling.

TrekCulture talks about the woketardery in the pre-STD Trek series – and it was actually a lot worse than you might think:
.
eh? Star Trek was notoriously prog. they even lie about having the first inter-racial kiss on television ( Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez were long before that ) they're so eager to brag about how progressive they were. i mean, they aren't much compared to Current Year, but nothing made pre-1990 could be. they even managed to punch Nazis on occassion.
.
.
Screen Junkies does an Honest Trailer for the Mad Max trilogy – which, I must admit, I’ve never actually watched:
.
if nothing else, you should watch Road Warrior to compare and contrast with Fury Road. in a nutshell, Fury Road is a stripped down and streamlined Road Warrior, with all of the action dialed up to 12.
.
the polecats are a rip off of a 3 second event in the first movie but the lack of budget and effects in the original is pretty harsh.

Nah, the official KIA figures will be accurate and are fairly easily checked. How? Look to the SGLI payments; the whorenalists do. What we DO sortakinda fudge are the SOF KIA figures, where the dead are hidden in non-SOF units. Reported though? Accurately? Yes.

Your verify system is being pissy again.
