In reply to JohnC911.

Sincere apologies, my friend, I intended to respond to your question, but never managed to get around to it.

Is Modern Israel more like the Crusader States than Ancient Israel?

It would certainly seem that way, at least to some extent. The other states in the region certainly view Israel as a foreign organism, a Western transplant in the thoroughly Islamised Middle East. Its culture is Mediterranean-European, and its military, at least, is almost entirely reliant on an outside source.
around U
The main difference is that Israel has an actual, functional, high-tech economy, that has much more to do with the innate qualities of its people, than on any amount of foreign aid. Israel, for instance, gets around US#3.5B in foreign aid from the US, almost all of it military - yet its economy is US$500B in size. The rest of the Middle East gets billions more, yet their economies are quite weak. Factors like climate, geography, IQ, and the lack of Wallahi Snackbar-related stupidity, all come into play.

Also if modern Israel does clean Gaza of Palestinians and goes after Lebanon how could this end?

With the destruction of the IDF and the end of Israel. It's really that simple. The IDF is not designed, built, or trained for long, grinding wars of attrition - which is precisely what a war against Hezbollah in Lebanon would become, because it would be a war fought on foreign soil by an occupying power. Israel does not have the industrial or military capacity to sustain such a war. Its military is Western in design, which means it relies overwhelmingly on air power and rapid manoeuvre, not on sustained campaigns rooted in industrial production.

What is the long term affect on Israel as a nation, people in (both the West, Middle East and the rest of the world) views of Israel, Jews, Muslims, Palestinians?

Neither outcome will end well for Israel. To be clear, Israel has ALREADY LOST any war it fights, because it has lost the moral level of war. The entire Middle East views Israel now, whether rightly or wrongly, as a barbaric and brutal occupying power, seeking to exterminate the Palestinian Arabs and Christians, and to inflict a second Nakba.

Arabs are tribalists at heart - they are, generally speaking, incapable of thinking beyond the level of their tribe. This is why most ordinary Arabs only care about the Palestinians in a very abstract sense, as a moral cudgel with which they can beat Israel and the West. But that does not reduce the effectiveness of that cudgel, at all.

The big problem for the Arab nations in the region is, there is a huge disconnect between their people, and their leaders. The peoples of the Arab world are FURIOUS and want their armies to march on Israel, to exterminate the Jews and wash the entire country into the sea. The leaders of the region know damned well that would doom them to nuclear fire, and destroy the entire world. So they are desperately trying to find a way to avoid such a war. But they can only resist the pressures of their people for so long.

Sooner or later, something will give. When it does, Israel is going to find itself cut off and isolated, because the very Sunni nations they once played off against Iran, are now allying with the Shi'ite power of the region against them.

Literally every single thing the Israelis have done since Oct 07 has been a mistake. The IDF, not Hamas, killed many of their own people that day in the confusion. And ever since then, they have made one moral mistake after another, culminating in their promise to give safe passage to Rafah - and then insisting that they need to invade Rafah and root out Hamas there.

This war will have no victory for Israel - only the end of their nation. They have to stop and try to rebuild whatever moral relationship they can with the region. Only then can they have any hope of long-term survival - because, if the FUSA falls, Europe falls with it. And this comes right back to your first point, about how Israel is effectively, like the old Crusader Kingdom of Outremer before it, a foreign transplant in an extremely hostile body. Once Europe and the FUSA are gone, Russia and China will not play along with Jewish Tikkuning of their Olam.

Which means Israel will be surrounded, isolated, and destroyed.

Unless, of course, the Messiah comes back first - and certainly there are plenty of signs pointing in that direction...

Hey Didactic,

I have a question on Israel.
With "history does not repeat itself but it rhymes" as Mark Twain has said.
Is Modern Israel more like the Crusader States than Ancient Israel?

In that the state both relays on outside to support mostly money, weapons (Men in the 12 century) and that it relays on the neighbouring powers to be fighting each other, corrupt or too weak.

When the European powers were busy fighting each other, the religious fervour for crusading decline and the power of the church was not respected as much the support drop. Also at the same time Egypt got a new leader Saladin who after taking power dealt with his opposition and any uprising. He then led a Jihad against the Crusader States. At the end capturing Jerusalem.

Also if modern Israel does clean Gaza of Palestinians and goes after Lebanon how could this end?
What is the long term affect on Israel as a nation, people in (both the West, Middle East and the rest of the world) views of Israel, Jews, Muslims, Palestinians?
Both if they successfully take over Lebannon and if they fail.

I get the sense that the internet wind is blowing strongly against the ugly-in-mind-body-and-soul THOT, but her cheerleaders would likely never hit my Twitter feed due to the algorithm screening it out, so I can't be totally sure.

If your woman (assuming she's based/normie and not an SJW on a crusade) ever offered to join in on an activity you enjoy vs. their usual outright contempt or at best bare tolerance of said activities, I and nearly every other man would probably grin like a six-year old with a new toy, assuming they're genuinely interested (or even pretending really well).

Pretty, feminine country girl who enjoys masculine hobbies with the men in her life, or even just on her own, is the "tank beats everything!" to e-girl THOTs.
