I’ll pick up Dark Forces eventually (might be the best pre-Build engine DOOM clone) but right now I’m getting X-Wing Alliance Upgrade and TIE Fighter Total Conversion all updated to the latest goodies in 6.0 and 1.3.4 and taking a run through it again. The remastered campaign isn’t quite done yet (it ends after Battle 9 with Thrawn giving a speech to a massive fleet about how Zaarin is going down), but what’s there is freaking fantastic and highly, HIGHLY recommended if you’re a big fan of the original game (which I am, it’s my #2 favorite video game ever).

All you need is a copy of X-Wing Alliance, which goes on sale for like 3 bucks all the time and is worth playing all by itself with the upgrade mods.

Are the Palestinians a nation?

Are the Israelis attacking the Palestinians who make up at least a third of the population of Jordan?

Are the Israelis attempting to exterminate or eliminate from the land the two million Arabs who are citizens of Israel itself?

Are they, however, attempting specifically to drive off the land the two million Palestinians who live in the enclave of Gaza?

Yes.

That is ethnic cleansing, not genocide. And it is very nearly as bad, but it does not amount to a deliberate and calculated extermination of the whole, or the part, of the Palestinian “race”, “nation”, “ethnic or religious group”. Palestinians are not a race, they are not a nation, and they are only part of a broader ethnic or religious group called “Arabs” in the first instance, and “Muslims” in the second.

Finally, should the Israelis stop this and work like mad to rebuild their shattered relations with the rest of the region, for the sake of their own survival?

Yes.

i would also note that by the definition under which the term was created, as posted on the Holocaust Museum web site, what is being done to the United States and western Europe also meets the criteria for a genocide.
