I thought you might be interested, I watched the movie 'spirited' last night, with Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrel.

First off, it was definitely not a children's movie. At first it feels like a 'deconstruction' of Dicken's Christmas Carol movie, but eventually you realize it's not... It's more like a'Christmas Carol 2' handled in a surprisingly intelligent way.

Secondly, it was packed with woke memes... except the memes were clearly obligatory, and were made so ridiculous that they were actually joke tropes. A slutty, retarded HR rep, Ryan Reynolds supposedly boning a goofy and amazingly ugly little indian girl as 'the ghost of chirstmas past', Will Ferrel's supposed fascination to a 600 pound dumpling of color, and a hilariously unexplained Asian Jacob Marley, as well as glossing over the 'mandatory' woke bits like his sister's social inadequacy.

Also, a black death... so incredibly, obviously black that it became a running gag.

There was also a lot of interesting subtext. An obviously Christian Purgatory being the home of the ghosts, with the pagan 'rebirth' meme getting buried under subtley Christian themes of heaven.

Theres a LOT of over-the-top musical stuff going on, to the point it becomes a joke (The asian Jacob Marley nods to 'monty python and the holy grail' jokes) And a few extremely red-pilled messages, such as redemption requiring constant effort and not occuring overnight, and honorable sacrifice being meaningless without actually paying a price. A few Karen jokes also that actually understood what a Karen really is instead of the leftist rebranding of Karen.

Honestly, the whole thing feels like it was written by red-pills who were forced to add 'woke' and did it in the most sarcastic manner possible. I quite liked it.

Not to mention, there was a number in the middle of the movie, 'Good Afternoon' about the joy of humiliating and insulting other people that was amusing as heck.

In short, if someone has the IQ of a cabbage, it looks like a straightforward Hell-wood cultural deconstruction, but if you are smart enough to peel off a few layers, it's a lot more like a deconstruction of idiot Hell-wood wokeness and atheism.

I recommend it strongly for Didact's reach readers, but to be fair, some of the redpilled reviewers who aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer might pan it for the surface appearance.

Ayup. Read it - many times - and referenced it above.

Kelly was just an incredible talent - he was one of those guys who had this intuitive feel for engineering, a true genius and a titan of his time.

The Russian paper was from Pytor Ufimtsev - something about light wave diffraction and refraction around convex and concave surfaces. There's even an anecdote in the book about the time that Ben Rich tried to sell the US Navy on a "stealth ship", which went nowhere fast because the US Navy doesn't do innovation very well these days.

Today the Navy is tying itself into knots trying to figure out how to float the supposedly "stealthy" LCS and Zumwalt designs. That hasn't worked out so well...

To add insult to injury with the SR-71; it was designed by men with pocket protectors and slide rules working under a genius named Kelly Johnson - who birthed some totally incredible and iconic aircraft. If you have a chance, read the book 'skunk works' by his protege Ben R. Rich. It wasn't until the F-117 that they started using computer modeling. And the original concept for that was hammered out by a dude with a slide rule that read a Russian paper on the subject (that was ignored by the commies).

Warn't no wimmens of color doing the mafs for these guys, no matter what hollywood says.
