Once a century, some idiot from the westerly direction pokes the Bear. Since at least 2012 the US had been looking to maneuvere Ukraine into a proxy role to be used against Russia. The coup of 2014 was planned well in advance. US NeoCon rage over Russia besting them in Syria in 2015 also amped up the US schedule, in terms of arming and encouraging the post-coup Ukrainian towards ultra nationalism and aggressive provocations against the eastern Russia speaking Oblasts of Ukraine. The US NeoCon cabal (publicly fronted by Nuland, wife of PNAC head Kagan) thought they were going to set a long term trap for Russia with Ukraine. By creating a US controlled Ukrainian proxy to jab away at Russian interests and traditional sphere of influence, with intent to create a weeping sore for Russia. Which brings us to now – Russia has just flipped the script. Just like they did in Syria in 2015. Now the US and its NATO flunkies are being lured into the trap. If they go militarily all-in, they are going to have to operationally haul everything into Ukraine from Poland, and are strictly limited to operating inside Ukraine. NATO cannot directly attack Russia itself, without a nuclear scenario unfolding. These western countries are NOT prepared for the manpower losses a full Ukrainian intervention will entail. They will likely try and get Poland and Baltics to do the heavy lifting at the infantry level, to avoid the dire political consequences of heavy losses within the main cheerleader US-British-German forces. But it will be a rolling catastrophe for them, and they will still lose their western NATO field officer-corps directing their efforts. The Russian’s are priming to give NATO a bloody nose in Ukraine. Once a century, some idiot from the westerly direction pokes the Bear.

Wow! What a read! You explained this so very well. We have spent the past two years down the Russian history hole, as well as the REAL US History hole.. and it all makes so much sense now. We already knew he was taking back the East after looking at an Atlas which showed what those four countries produce, etc.. but did not know all the underlying information that you provided. REALLY REALLY appreciate this article. THank you for stating the cold hard facts, and not a spin. I hope that more people stumble upon your site. Sadly, many in the USA are too lazy, or too stupidly distracted to try and figure out what is going on, anywhere else… AND WHY..
