The only way to have an IQ of 180 is by using the Cattell scale, which is on a scale of 200 and uses a different standard deviation. There has simply never been a large enough sampling to go above the Wechsler or Stanford-Binet scale of 160. A 180, Cattell, by the way, is a 150 Wechsler. I, personally, am unimpressed.

Or would be, even as I sneered, if I thought IQ measured intelligence reliably. I do not think so. I think it’s incapable – they’re all incapable – of telling the difference between intelligence and work ethic. You can’t even say for sure that they can measure idiocy well, since there are and have been people who were illiterate and innumerate who were still highly intelligent.

Strangely, this video is blocked by my firewalls at work, so I can’t comment on it.

What I do want to comment on is the range and impact of this IQ delta.
Gap from retard to Avg = 3sd
Gap from avg to Vox = 3sd
Gap from Vox to Vaknin = 3sd

That’s a minimum 6sd from the girl next door to Vaknin. That is an astonishingly lonely place to be. There’s no entertainment or games that could competently amuse, no woman who could dream of being a wife on equal terms.

What did historical societies do with these outliers? I expect some squandered them completely but others let them drive massive utility to society. Someone like Shakespeare changed entertainment forever. Someone like Mozart moved music by a century. Someone like Aquinas towered over all his contemporaries for a century on both sides. Honestly, I can’t imagine any of these actually batting in the 180iq range, they managed relationships with their contemporaries too well.

I don’t know this, but I speculate that civilizations where the individual thrives benefit from the outliers. The ones who harnessed those minds to the purpose of the divine benefitted the most. Should not the transcendent mind ought to best grasp the transcendent truth?

Having been through multiple “idiot serving institutions” (trying to not self dox here) I can only say this…the eugenicists were on to something. Not sure if their proposed methods are the solution though…but if we don’t do something the white (with the exception of the Slavs) and black races are doomed.

The northeast Asians will wind up ruling this world…assuming their fertility rate can ever be reversed.
