I agree that it was excellent. The most ridiculous claims are that it’s “anti-woke.” It’s just not, it has nothing in it about wokeness, or Reece smoking a trannie or a disabled black person or anything like that. The anti-woke story line seems to be completely made up, but I can’t tell which side’s PR firm thought of it.

I was surprised how the prey population resembled schools of fish being harassed by ocean predators in those nature documentaries, teeming together just by reproduction. Nice to note that the productive, not the predatory, are the survivors in the end. Man does not live by conquest alone.

Ryan Kinel has a good point about Amazon’s Terminal List.
Rotten Tomatoes gives it an average of 43% from critics but 91% from the people. I didn’t care much for the book, the characters are flat and the story is poorly paced…but it has captured the attention of three men in my circle who don’t read books and have read all four of the books so far. The same crap we give Amazon for Woke-ing LOTR, they deserve some head nods for tackling this very masculine (toxic!!) series with Pratt, who is rapidly becoming a deplorable.

She will have a higher ROI for airbags in the front than a bumper in the back.
