Just a quick post today, lads, as I am very much half in the bag thanks to some extended celebrations relating to a very important personal achievement. It has been a very good day, for a number of reasons. But I have tried to avoid getting too carried away, for the simple reason that, as the Book of Job teaches us, all good things come from the Lord ALONE.
And what the Lord gives, He too can take away.
So it has certainly been with my life, which for the past 4 years has been one of almost unrelenting disappointments across a broad spectrum of attempts and ventures. Yet I remain optimistic about the future, because there is clearly a pattern and a purpose behind those failures, designed to turn me into something that the Big Fella Upstairs needs and wants.
In the end, that is all that really matters – whether you are doing what He wants, not what you want. The two are almost never the same thing, and those who get them mixed up, inevitably suffer as a result.
That is all I will say on the subject. Since it is, after all, Friday, you are here for a specific reason, so let us get on with that.
This week’s lovely lady is Deborah Tramitz, age 19 from somewhere in Krautland. She does… stuff, the precise details of which I am thoroughly uninterested in researching.
Happy Friday, all. It has been a good day, and I think I shall end it on that note and head off to get some much-needed rest. Keep the faith, stay strong in these difficult times, and above all, remember: that which you have received, can just as easily be taken away, so never, EVER make the mistake of thinking that you can rest comfortably on what you have now.

Congrats on your achievement (what ever it was)! It is indeed rewarding when a plan comes together!
Thank ye kindly, sir))
