It&#039;s instructive to see Jesus use the gamma/special boy tendencies of his Pharisee adversaries to his advantage. They perceived he spoke about them. It was certain that they would, these types always think everything is about them and their precious creeds.

The Pharisees feared the listening audience because those people at least partially recognized Jesus. The people recognized the prophetic ministry of Jesus.

As Secret Kings, they missed the point. Fear not the crowds nor man, but the voice of the living God who told them his purpose right in that exchange. God welcomes the humble into his fold, but the arrogant will tear themselves apart.]]></description>
