"–There is absolutely no substitute for good physical health. Don’t get fat. Get in shape. Do some kind of exercise. Move your body doing something. Get your ass off your couch and MOVE. Eat well. Limit sugar and processed foods. Eat proteins, lean meats, and roughage. Get good sleep. Develop these habits early, and you’ll live a long healthy life."

Nailed it all over your comment, and especially nailed it here.

About damn time.

You realize that my work iPhone's sole function these days was to play yer podcast? I installed podbean and connected it via bluetooth to an old wave radio for this podcast. True, I use it for to other content, but that's how it started.

Oh, BTW - screw those guys. There'll all incompetent doofuses.

Get healthy. Purge debt. Learn to live simply. Avoid the whole problem. Fauci is a career doofus that's screwed up everything he's touched. Nothing but a fuk-all for money.

--Doctors are not gods. They don't know everything. They're not perfect.

--Doctors, nurses, and every other healthcare field are like every other profession. It's populated with a few extremely talented people, a lot of mediocre people who do the job from very well to barely adequately, and a few real morons. And all of them, from the very best to the very worst, make mistakes and miss things all the time.

--the more specialized a practitioner gets, the more extreme the person is - either extraordinarily people-skilled (very outgoing), or not people-skilled at all (moderately to severely autistic).

--Americans still do health care better than pretty much anyone else, but this is changing. Health care in the US is getting worse, less available, lower quality, and more expensive, with each passing year.

-- Listen to your body, your brain, and your gut. If something's wrong, get help.

-- If you have been diagnosed with a condition, get a second opinion. Learn as much as you can about it online and from other resources. There is a wealth of information about every condition. Get it. Start changing your lifestyle to accommodate and improve your condition.

--There is absolutely no substitute for good physical health. Don't get fat. Get in shape. Do some kind of exercise. Move your body doing something. Get your ass off your couch and MOVE. Eat well. Limit sugar and processed foods. Eat proteins, lean meats, and roughage. Get good sleep. Develop these habits early, and you'll live a long healthy life.

-- Learn about your family's medical history - you look like them on the inside as well as the outside. If your parents were fat and diabetic, you will have a propensity for that too, so learn about it and develop strategies to avoid it. If your family has a history of cancer or heart disease, you will too, so learn about it.

-- Mental health is just as important. If you need time off, take it. If you need to talk to someone, do it. If you need help, GET IT. No man is an island - you cannot do it all yourself. If you feel yourself slipping, get help. You MUST learn to manage negative stressors.
