Indeed, the choice that Saul faced is the same one that we all face. It is the only one that actually matters in this whole life. With Him, or against Him – that’s all there is to it.

Luke is a deft writer. The contrast is neatly cleaved:
—The Way: The truth, the redeemed path that follows Jesus in spirit, soul and body. Not a way, THE way. The only one that lines up with the universe we inhabit, the walk of wisdom.
—His Way: The lies, the rejection of the truth, the pursing the heart of the man, the path that leads but to the grave.

The same choice is here every moment of every day:
– Do I love those who hate me and bless those who persecute?
– Do I put lust and pornography aside for greater beauty, or do I say its no big deal and it doesn’t hurt anyone?
– Do I give generously with the money I steward, or do I clutch to it as if it is mine?

The Way or his way… the question that determines the character of a man.
