Bezos married that car/plane/train wreck of a face? Wow, she must give great headache or something?? I could understand if Bezos or Gates upgraded to a 25 yo hot fitness model...but that wasn't going to happen, because they are both dork gammas, pretending to be alphas.

It is also possible that a mannish ball-buster like Melinda just makes the first move with the nerd, and hence he marries her by default.

Entirely possible. But evidence has since emerged that Billzebub in fact had a bit of a roving eye - and had to step down from Microsoft and Berkshire Hathaway board positions because of his antics.

That, as far as I can tell, is very, very typical behaviour for Gammas with large amounts of money and resultant power.

However, is this cluelessness of what an attractive woman looks like in any way similar to how Indian men have the same inability? Does this have anything to do with Indians also being common in software professions? If there is a common thread here, then we might be on the verge of an important discovery through this pattern matching.

I don't think so - admittedly, I'm hardly qualified to opine much on the matter. Indian men often as not have their wives chosen for them and don't have a clue what an attractive woman looks like, precisely because of their culture and genetics. Moreover, Indians in general have a very restricted ability to mix among themselves, thanks - again - to their caste system. That doesn't really apply in the West, certainly not to anything like the same degree.

If pressed on the subject, I would say that Indian men are genetically and culturally conditioned to act in certain ways by a culture obsessed with stability and cohesion, whereas the phenomenon of Gamma dorkiness and ineptitude in Western cultures is the result of more than 50 years of largely successful Satanic cultural destabilisation. The forces work in opposite directions.

However, I stress again that I have no data to back this up, only anecdotal observations.

I wonder how a high-IQ man can get to that state. His social circle for his entire life was UMC and wealthy white people, where the women are attractive. I doubt he had any non-white friends in his youth. So how can he not know what an attractive woman looks like?

It's a good question. I do not think that I am qualified to answer it fully, but a big part of the answer appears to lie in something that I referenced in the article itself. Namely, it is the reference to Roissy's maxim that Sigma(T) = Sigma(E).

Bill Gates is not a masculine man. He married a very masculine-looking woman. This is similar to John Scalzi marrying a woman who looks like the Hulk standing next to him - and Scalzi is a writer, not a programmer. It is similar to other Gammas, like jeff Bezos - who is not a programmer, his background was in finance and he started his career at D. E. Shaw, which is known for hiring like the top 0.001% of talent. Jeff Bezos married a boiled horse and then cheated on her with a woman who looks like she is half-daemon, with an entire car dashboard's worth of plastic injected into her. He then married that same half-daemon.

This tendency is not universal among software and finance types, but it is common. And that is because those professions by definition attract men who think more than they do and are primarily left-brain types. These professions are all about working with virtual, unreal things in a way that divorces men from the real world. Having been in that world for over a decade, I can confirm that it can be actively destructive to a man's sense of balance and well-being. They therefore end up going with their innately low-T tendencies.

So these men do see, and spend time around, attractive women. They just can't do anything to attract them. That is the great irony of having billions of dollars - it doesn't matter how rich a man is, if he does not have some degree of masculinity to go along with it.

To continue the Bill Gates divorce topic, you mentioned (correctly) that Bill Gates does not even know what an attractive woman looks like.

I mean, we know that Indians in India don't know what an attractive woman looks like, but that is because they never see one. Even the Bollywood actresses are women with 8 faces and 6 bodies. But Bill Gates ought to know better.

Are the low awareness of female attractiveness between the two entities related? Does this have anything to do with software talent (the only other common attribute between white tech nerds like Bill Gates and Indians in India)?
