My experience tells me that the opposite is usually, though not universally, true. Matt Forney wrote about this in his classic RoK article, about how 2nd- and 3rd-generation Indians mix the worst of Hindu culture with the worst of American Left-liberal thinking and become quite unbearable as a result. From what I have observed during my time in the West, that is absolutely true. Second-generation Indians, in particular, tend to gorge themselves on junk food while they are in Western countries and end up looking quite poorly.

From what I’ve seen, Indians don’t change their diets much in the West. I’ve seen plenty of Indian immigrants bringing lunches that their wives prepared into the office and sitting in their own little cliques – they never mingle with anyone else. They are universally out of shape and have lousy posture.

That said – yes, some second-generation Indians manage to do just fine.

Gym culture is not common among Indians in general, and neither is physical exercise, outside of specific Indian sub-groups with significant warrior heritages like the Sikhs and Marathas. It is not at all a coincidence that Rajasthan, Punjab, Gujarat, Kashmir, and Maharashtra make up a significant proportion of the Indian military’s most important recruitment centres.

I agree. I will say that the ‘raw material’ with Indians is better, and so there is a theoretical upside that does not exist with non-Ethiopian Africans.

This is because the 2nd-gen Indians in the West tend to be much better looking. I think this is due to better diet, better culture, and more guidance on what IS attractive, so they can focus on that. Objectively speaking, I would say that Africans are worse – but not by much, and not in all parts of Africa. He wasn’t wrong, exactly – just indelicate.
