One of my readers just wrote in to tell me that he’s having issues logging in to leave comments. This would help explain why there have been virtually no comments since everything went live (well, more or less) on Saturday.
I have changed the settings now so that all you have to do is provide a name and an email. This is in line with the rules of this blog, which demand that anyone leaving comments must do so under a recognisable name – not anonymously. As I’ve long maintained, I don’t care if you comment under the name “Apocalyptic Dingleberry” – just leave a name.
If you are still having issues, please let me know. Otherwise, feel free to leave your thoughts, and have fun with it.

The new site is a vast improvement.
Yeah, it’s a lot easier to create content on WordPress too. I do like this setup. Still lots of work to do in order to get the site looking the way I want it, though.
I was about to email you at some given time and say “so long and thanks for all the fish!” because I’ll be damned if I’m going to register to comment anywhere. I didn’t mind the old site but if it makes life easier, then more power to you.
I realise now that I should have gotten rid of the registration requirement from the beginning. It’s more or less the default setting on WordPress, but it’s a dumb setup.
Thank you, Didact, for finding me an online monicker
I consider commenting to be like drive-by shooting …
It’s important that the target knows who’s doing the violence, but it’s not so important for the rozzers.
After all, every act of writing may be in some way criminal, but some acts of writing are more criminal than others.
Also, I may as well be an Apocalyptic Dingleberry this week as well because I still appear to be attached to the back side of this blog. 🙂
