"This is a man whose marriage to a Slovenian supermodel of formidable talent, intelligence, and achievement is quite odd, and it is difficult to understand how the two of them can possibly make it work."

This is about class: she has it naturally, as in the grace of someone who naturally fits within high realms of hierarchies. He understands it, respects it, admires it. They're a better match than any he's made in the past at the least.

That's how while all of this panic-borne inanity is going on that she can focus on a landscape design restoration project at the White House.

Lately she's been restoring the architectural vision of someone with the last name of Mellon.

In essence, she's saying with her actions something that would offend every Communist, every Socialist, every Liberal ...

Lineage matters.

Restoration projects matter, especially the projects that express the desire to remember better days and also to go forward to them.

Bringing back a vision of the Kennedy era?

All of this is not just symbolic: it expresses a strength of character that says through action that despite the worst, we are still here.

Most people have no idea how long this fight's been going on.

The Deep State?

A new faction in a multi-factional battle that's been raging for centuries.

"The God-Emperor of Mankind is a hugely flawed man who has been a major disappointment in many ways and who continues to maintain his foolish civic nationalism ..."

You might too if you were convinced that there wouldn't be enough people on your side to be able to affect the balance of power.

The opposition certainly isn't a bunch of florists, even if they are pretty much everywhere.

Yeah, but you're missing another aspect of Dalrock's writing: men must provide leadership roles within and outside the Church to set things back on track, and this is extremely hard and thankless work which most men will fail to do.

Dalrock's guidance is sorely missed, but I remain optimistic that Roosh will find his way eventually. God always steers those who love Him and His Truth back to the right path - though the process of getting there is often EXTREMELY unpleasant.

He does also claim that he's being contacted by a whole different class of women than in his past life.

I highly doubt this, and the few that have emerged are probably not attractive. No matter what Roosh says now, he is not suddenly going to be attracted to 4s and 5s.

Again, Dalrock's entire blog (and commenter archive) is full of men who were Christians all along. The consistent theme is that most 'Christian' woman are not Christian in practice, all churches are dominated by feminism, and the few women who really follow the book are unattractive (which is nothing new).

With all his talk about becoming one flesh with a woman, why a man should live with his parents until marriage, be a virgin, etc., he sounds just like what I imagine some 70 year old Indian who advocates for arranged marriages would sound like.

It's the weirdest thing - that was EXACTLY my thinking when I saw his article about how men should live with their parents until they get married.

The only major difference between him and the typical Indian blue-pilled, blue-balled Beta at this point is that Indian men live with their parents AFTER they get married too. The Bible makes it very clear that a man must leave his mother and father when he gets married, and I think Roosh believes the same.

That being said - Roosh is also on pretty shaky Biblical ground as well. There are a LARGE number of cases of holy and virtuous men in the Bible who either explicitly did not live with their parents, or were not shown as living with them. That includes none other than the Big Cheese, JC Himself. And it includes most of the prophets, including Elijah, Samuel, and Isaiah, as far as I'm aware.

Moving out of the house of one's parents is meant to reflect the realities of the human relationship with God. We were given free will, at literally unbelievable cost to God, and that includes the freedom to sin - and the freedom to repent.

Grace comes from repentance. Repentance comes from sin. It is very bad to sin. It is far worse to deny free will, and that is why God didn't do that. He permitted His creation to sin, knowing exactly what would happen as a result.

There is an element of his new writing that aims to ignore the hard probabilities around this. A man taking up Christianity won't get him a similarly pious woman.

Yes, there is a bit of that. He does also claim that he's being contacted by a whole different class of women than in his past life. He could very well be right - I don't know. I do think that Roosh has a very optimistic view of the very hard work of marriage and relationships. Even for Christians, it's REALLY DIFFICULT, though it gets a lot easier when God is put front and centre as arbiter and uniter between Man and Woman.

Tell me if I am wrong.

The thing is, he KNOWS about hypergamy, and how almost no young womens are virgins by age 22, and certainly not by the time they marry. There is an element of his new writing that aims to ignore the hard probabilities around this. A man taking up Christianity won't get him a similarly pious woman. Dalrock covered all this for a decade. I still think Roosh's flailing is partly because of the vacuum Dalrock has left.
