In reply to <a href="https://didacticmind.com/2020/07/friday-t-malibu-barbie-edition.html#comment-111">Dire Badger</a>.

It's even more fun than Dire Badger's take ...

It's a moving ideological bomb wrapped in layer of anti-bureaucrat shrapnel surrounded by a Modest Proposal.

The Modest Proposal layer consists of the question itself, which leads to whether vote-by-mail could ever be trusted.

The shrapnel layer consists of the slightly more radical question of whether the US Postal Service remains capable of doing its job.

But the inner ideological bomb consists of the true poison to these people, the proposition that none of this mostly Leftist control freak nonsense amounts to anything, and so not only should the election proceed as normally held, but also so should nearly everything else.

This kills the Batman ... ah, er, I mean the Leftist control freak.

Personally I like the hostage taking scenario here of making the US Postal Service one of the passengers on the Speed bus. :-)

This is what Leftists want to keep pushing down on people: "If you don't wear a mask in Miami, it'll cost you — $50 for the first offense, $100 for the second, and $500 every time after that. ... Anyone who violates the ordinance more than three times will not only get a $500 fine, but will also be arrested."

Not that I'm worried about this in the slightest.

I decided that things would work out better to pay our way out of the current lease, and that ended on Friday because of the buy-out.

Having a functional and reasonably nice airline hub in America had worked in the past, but as major American cities descend into barbarism and bizarreness, this has increasingly less utility.

The future of American cities: will it be Harlan Ellison's "A Boy and His Dog" or the US television series "Jericho"?

The Left wants to play at Clausewitzian warfare, but there are other people who are much better at it ...

This move by Trump doesn't seem so strange after all.

Picture it all done up in Hollyweird boom and blue: it looks like Arlington, but it's the memorial for everyone who went up in "The Incident", with patriotic music and a new holiday with a day off work.

The Senators from South Carolina wanted to call it "Cancellation Day" but that was deemed to be in poor taste. :-)

But you can almost taste the barbecue and the cold beer!

Or at least I could ...

Then the mise en scene delivers five seconds of Yanking Off With Gravitas before quietly wandering away with the suspicion that an outcome so intense had to be deserved ...

Saw it all in a dream.

Realised I needed to be Off The X.

It's actually very, very simple. GE strategy #1.

When you support something, your enemies do not dare support it for fear of being called sympathetic to your aims.

There is no way he can singlehandedly get the election delayed. Getting it delayed does him no good. It would actually stand a small chance to harm him.

But, by supporting it, The pelosi brigade HAS to oppose it, even if it's in their best interests, which it definitely is... The longer an election is delayed the more Lie-Berals can 'find' lost democrat ballots.
