“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

The man who should be Batman

If you haven’t watched a Scott Adkins film, he’s basically the king of martial arts B-movies these days – and some of those movies are actually very good. One of my favourites is Boyka: Undisputed, in which Mr. Adkins plays the dark anti-hero Yuriy Boyka with gruff and growling charisma and amazing fighting skills.

He is an extremely accomplished martial artist with at least one black belt in tae kwon do, and probably several other black belts in various martial arts disciplines ranging from traditional ones like judo, karate, and ninjutsu, to modern ones like escrimaKrav Maga and Brazilian jiujitsu.

In other words – the dude knows how to fight. He also has extensive fight choreography, stunt-man, and action film experience. And he applies all of that to breaking down action sequences from various martial arts films:

If you really liked Batbale, were dissatisfied with Batfleck and you quail at the idea of Patman, then I think it’s fair to say that Batkins is exactly what we need.

After all, this is a guy who genuinely knows how to fight and has exactly the kind of growling natural charisma needed to make Gamma wish fulfillment like Batman come to life:

  1. Kapios

Kevin Conroy was in an episode of CW. They showed him as a cripple for fuck sake. They had, possibly the best batman and they ruined him. He could at least play the old batman in a movie where he interacts with his son from the league of assassins or whatever makes a good narrative.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. Conroy is definitely the very best voice of Batman, ever.
