i'm not sure where you're getting all this from. Richard isn't perfect, he's a Silent Gen civnat. but there's a reason why Robbie went back to RPM after winning a championship with Jeff Gordon and Rick Hendrick. and that's because Richard treated him like family. cheapskate family, but family nonetheless.
Richard Petty: "I took it for granted that you'd always be around. Now, if you were talking to me about ninety-nine percent of the deals you could possibly have, I'd tell you to get out of here and get back to work. But Rick Hendrick is good people"

nobody in big league racing has a problem with being in a "corporate pocket", from F1, to Aussie v8s, to Indycar, to NHRA drag racing, to BTCC, to Stadium Trucks, to Le Mans, to NASCAR, to WRC you've got to have a big money sponsor just to be in the field. you usually have to have multiple big sponsors to run up front.

you want "greedy and narcissistic", you want to look at people like Ricky Spinhouse ( very little talent and an ass ), Dale Earnhardt ( Sr and Jr ), Robbie Gordon ( talented but strategically one of the dumbest ever ), Kyle Petty ( wrecked Sr on the last lap and Davey Allison after the checker for beating him in the 1992 Winston ) and Danica Patrick.

Richard has always been respected BY DRIVERS as a racer who would almost never screw another man over for a win. there's a lot of guys you can't say that about.

To be honest, (very funny) Memes aside, it was Richard Petty pushing the whole 'race card' thing, Bubba apparently just wants to race, and was running with it because his boss told him so. I kinda feel sorry for the guy.

Richard Petty was the real-life inspiration for the 'greedy, narcissitic, talented driver totally in corporate pockets' meme so prevalent as the 'bad guy' in movies about racers, from Days of Thunder to Cars.

It must totally suck driving for him.

Doesn't that make Bubba Wallace's career trajectory even worse than that of GoDaddy's former DriverThot Danica Patrick?

no.

Richard Petty Motorsports ( RPM ) is a bottom tier, one car team and Bubba is their only driver. Bubba is pretty much performing at the level to be expected from the level of his equipment.

i knew Robbie Loomis way back, RPM is a penny pinching org and has been since the 1950s. they were smart about the way they built their cars back in the day, that and factory sponsorship were how they got so many wins. it's been decades since RPM had major backing and nowadays it takes Big Stacks to go fast. if you don't have your own wind tunnel and 7 post shaker you are not going to be leading edge.

Danica was ( almost ) ALWAYS the worst driver on her own team. her team mates were winning races and competing for championships, she was getting lapped by them. there was many a time when NASCAR would come back from a commercial break to an in-car view of Danica running by herself, laps down on the field
...
which tells the viewer that nothing interesting happens at a race? you've got 43 cars competing and NO ONE on the entire track is dicing for position?

conclusion: Danica always drove BELOW the level of her equipment, that men were capable of competing in.

i will say that, prior to this noose thing, Bubba did a pretty good job of not being offensive and not doing stupid crap on track ... which is WAY more than you can say for Danica.

so far as the "never higher than 28th" thing, that's just going to confuse race fans. nobody cares about points finish UNLESS you're in the running for the championship. and after the season is over, nobody cares about ANY points position EXCEPT FOR the champion.

Bubba has a 2nd at Daytona and a 3rd at Indy, that's what racers will talk about.

I think he should build a website with a few others who want to avoid being purged by SoyTube

He has his own site, but Stefan is more of a lone wolf - he's not known for playing too well with others.

I suspect that Stefan isn't going to lose much from getting kicked off YouTube, Patreon, and so on and so forth. He's been deplatformed repeatedly before and seems to be doing just fine.

Either we get our own fully functioning websites or spend a few billions acquiring mass media websites

Indeed. Trying to outspend the opposition is usually a very stupid exercise in futility. Everything that I have seen and experienced tells me that it is a much smarter idea to build organically in an antifragile manner.

"Should the government support a separation of church and state by removing references to God on money, federal buildings, and national monuments?"

I thought putting god on paper money was an insult. Money means 'mono (one) eye' and the way they print the notes it seems like they mean that the government is the all seeing entity. I take it as a sign of worshiping the government and its fake money. Even the dome shaped design was taken from the church. I think the U.S government had already separated from religion but they use it as a front to manipulate people.

On another note, the pics with guns and girls are nice. There should be a slogan about it. 'Raise your guns and drop your gins - how to end rape' lol

With regards to Stefan, I'm not surprised by the censoring either. I think he should build a website with a few others who want to avoid being purged by SoyTube. There is no other way. Either we get our own fully functioning websites or spend a few billions acquiring mass media websites. They have the audience, so all those who got banned will bounce back in a year or so.

If Bubba Wallace were a movie director, he'd be Albert Pyun or Uwe Boll with that kind of lifetime underachievement award.

I'd say Uwe Boll at least has some achievements in his career - of the kind that no one else would ever want, admittedly. Bubba Wallace can't even claim that much. At least BloodRayne starred Kristana Loken and Sir Ben Kingsley. (God only knows how and why he agreed to appear in that film.

Smells much nastier, looks very much nastier.

Even saying what it really looks like can put you off your lunch.

I definitely should not have clicked on that link. Rotted Greenland shark that stinks of ammonia? Ummmm no thanks.

I saw that Stefan has been booted - didn't know about AmRen. I'm not in the least bit surprised about either one of them. I don't think they were making any real money from YouTube for a while. AmRen's videos are always immediately demonetised, and I'm pretty sure Stefan's videos have been demonetised for at least a year. It was merely a matter of time.

This was always going to happen. YouTube was always going to do this. The question is, what are creators like Stefan going to do about it?

If past performance is any indication - basically nothing. Like most "conservatives", they'll just sit back and take it. What they SHOULD be doing is going after YouTube and others for tortious interference.

"Unfortunately, Wallace hasn’t yet proven more than mediocre at the highest level, finishing 28th among drivers in each of the past two seasons."

Doesn't that make Bubba Wallace's career trajectory even worse than that of GoDaddy's former DriverThot Danica Patrick?

If Bubba Wallace were a movie director, he'd be Albert Pyun or Uwe Boll with that kind of lifetime underachievement award.

Isn't a Nascar course just a bunch of high speed left turns anyway?

"... what we were all smelling wasn't just fishy, it was full-on top-shelf high-stink Surstromming ..."

Iceland decided they needed to enter the ring and claim the championship from Sweden.

Smells much nastier, looks very much nastier.

Even saying what it really looks like can put you off your lunch.

"... here's a very interesting and quite thorough quiz ..."

Oh this should be fun! :-)

"Should universities provide 'trigger warnings' and 'safe spaces' for students?"

No, but any existing safe spaces should be cleaned out periodically with tear gas and fire hoses.

"Should the government support a separation of church and state by removing references to God on money, federal buildings, and national monuments?"

No, because without these reminders, people would worship the State.

"Should the government fund space travel?"

No, because government involvement has already wrecked American science, the real legacy of Vannevar Bush.

"Should the U.S. build a wall along the southern border?"

Yes, because it guarantees the safety of Mexican cartels from stray bullets fired by US civilians along the northern frontier.

Oh ... did someone in Mexico say we should send someone to negotiate? :-)

The results weren't too surprising since they didn't include a Loyalist party.

87% Constitution, 79% Libertarian, 73% Republican ... and then 18% Green, 15% Socialist, and 10% Democratic.

I think their software misunderstood my answers on certain questions as supporting social spending when I would prefer to eliminate it entirely.

"... shoot ... on sight for trespassing ..."

Oh, look, violent people sent a pretend pacifist to negotiate.

Where did our negotiator learn how to negotiate?

I wonder. :-)
