But here's the truth about Seattle: it's so enormously expensive for what you get and so absurdly afflicted with The POZ that I went back to the UK for a few years because that was actually a better deal.

Even living in London for a while was cheaper than living in Seattle.

Wow. That bad? I'm genuinely surprised - I lived in central London for five months on a work assignment 5 years ago, and I found my weekly grocery bills to be almost as high as they were in the USA, but I didn't think Seattle would be worse than that.

That being said - the quality of meat in M&S and Tesco was always much higher in the UK than in the US, simply because in PommieBastardeLande you lot don't inject your feed animals with quite as much artificial junk as they do in the USA.

The worst deal about Washington State is how the state government has hired minimally competent IT people to implement the state's information systems. This descent to the lowest common worker denominator impacts everything from driving licences to incorporating a new business through Washington's Secretary of State.

Can't say I'm surprised by that. Outsourcing computer programming to Indians results in, well, Indian levels of quality. There is a REASON why India is still a crappy country more than 70 years after the Brits left.

But as for your American experiences, you missed out on Florida

I've been to Florida a few times. I liked it there, but the place is full of old geezers, and if you want to be around not-so-old folks, that requires being in and around places like Tampa, Orlando, and Miami - i.e. liberal Diversitopia dumps.

Once the current travel miasma has dissipated, give Daytona Beach a try.

Oh yeah. I was there about 10 years ago with some friends from Britishland. It was one of my best holidays - lots of good memories.

"The Left is taunting Trump, trying to bait him to get involved."

Nick Land was amusing a few days ago with his comment on Twitter that (paraphrased) said the USA has no vital interests in Seattle.

This observation of Nick Land's is absolutely spot on.

Having lived off and on in Seattle for a few years, I can't say that I chose it out of any feeling there was anything vital going on there.

Instead, I picked it because it was way out of the way of a lot of people, especially UK and US media types who didn't like leaving their dystopian sprawlburg shitholes to endure the Pacific Northwest wilderness and its cleaner air.

I could be in a taxi or on a train to the regional airport within a few minutes, and then after a few hours, I could be in any of their places, whereas they wouldn't lift a toe to try to come out to mine.

Where did you think I obtained this moderately amusing nom de l'affiche de merde invoking the imagery of the market place? Safeway? Fred Meyer? QFC? The West Seattle Food Bank? :-)

But here's the truth about Seattle: it's so enormously expensive for what you get and so absurdly afflicted with The POZ that I went back to the UK for a few years because that was actually a better deal.

Even living in London for a while was cheaper than living in Seattle.

You can see me elsewhere occasionally whinging about how I dislike intensely paying roughly twice as much for decent steak in America as I did in the UK, and let's not even get started on the subject of entirely absent Cornish butter and Welsh whisky because I really will become cross. :-)

Nearly always my grocery bill was lower in the UK than what it is now in the US.

Despite being one of the US states without personal income tax, which matters for people holding US citizenship because they can never get away from paying US taxes [waves hand], living in Washington State is a really bad deal.

After all, the more competent IT people would work for the startups and other companies who are able to compensate them much better ...

But as for your American experiences, you missed out on Florida -- as much as Texas may also work for you (being another US state without a personal income tax), the eye candy you crave is in abundance in Florida, and there's still plenty of it that isn't afflicted with tattoos.

Not all of Florida is a sloppy seconds family-orientated tourist vacation hellhole populated with refugees from the Northeast. Once the current travel miasma has dissipated, give Daytona Beach a try.

You right about policing speech. I am wrong to say free speech, it has never really existed in private spaces. No company ever has done free speech. NASCAR for example I bet they have never allow drivers to have cars having naked images to race. McDonald probably fire you for swearing at a customer. And I bet racism is not allow in most places for employees.
Yes the immigration problems is a part why Australian politicians paid them. During the Labor government it become a big problem, numbers of boats arriving increase every month.

Check out the website for the numbers. aph.gov.au/About_Parliament/Parliamentary_Departments/Parliamentary_Library/pubs/rp/rp1617/Quick_Guides/BoatTurnbacks.
By the way the number start in the 1972 due in part to Australia changing its immigration laws and allowing refugees from Vietnam.

Before the Labor government got into power in 2007 boats arriving (mainly from Indo) it went down to single digits. As soon as the government change to Labor, well it took only 2 years to get into 2 digits and another to go into the 3 digits (highest being 300 boats 2013) of numbers going up every year until they got voted out. Liberals got in it went down to just 1 boat 2014 and then no boats after that.

So apart of it is immigration, one part I bet is guilt (White guilt of having a better standard of living), fear of racism (the Jewish lobby is also big in Australia and they love refugees for some reason), look good to the UN, probably a bit of fear of Piracy and lastly to build them up in fear of china.
None of this really matters and would not of happen 100 years ago but Australian government has sold this country out at least since the 70s.

One wonders when the SJW tearing is going to be stop.

That's easy - when they get their teeth smashed in with a baseball bat.

That is the only way to get them to stop. People have to stand up to them and refuse to be intimidated.

I know Vox Day said he does believe in free speech

I don't either. This blog sure a heck isn't a free speech zone - I actively police it. I believe that a man is responsible for the words of his mouth, and that "free speech" is nothing but an attack on anti-blasphemy laws designed to protect the True Faith.

If Nascar follows this, well they will go out of business due to the fact that their viewers are mostly not black or white Liberals but i bet majority are Southerners.

NASCAR has unfortunately already started down the virtue-signalling road, and they are already losing serious revenue because of it.

Our politicians do it to stop the threat of war.

I knew about the aid to Indonesia, but what, exactly, is Indonesia going to do to Australia? Last time I checked, the Indonesians don't have any significant ability to project force beyond their own islands or invade anything worth a hill of beans. The worst that they can do - which they HAVE done - is swamp Australia with immigrants.

Also if you are interested check out East Timor and that conflict

Yeah I have some memories of that from my time in Indonesia. It was a distant but brewing problem back in the 90s. Australia got involved as the bulk of the peacekeeping forces. Ultimately it came down to Christians vs Muslims in that part of Indonesia - still is, in fact.

I hate the left the more i read. They would sell their own mothers if they could.

That hatred is a good thing. We are commanded to hate the wicked. And they are unquestionably wicked.

It's a hoot if you're a fan of both Halo and Ghosts 'n Goblins.

I never played that game as a kid, but I appreciate the mashup - it's hilarious.

I'm finding plenty to nitpick about the story, but I don't totally hate it

It is by far the weakest plot of any of the HALO games - even worse than HALO 2 and HALO Wars. It's not completely awful, but that is damning with faint praise, really.

Compared to Elites, Brutes and H4 Knights, Soldiers are kind of chumps.

Unless you play on Legendary, in which case you can dump an entire magazine of ammo into them and only then do they finally get to the point where you can hit them with a headshot.

They're not hard to beat, but they are VERY irritating.

If Nascar follows this, well they will go out of business due to the fact that their viewers are mostly not black or white Liberals but i bet majority are Southerners. Great time to invest in new business that compete with these sports and that support rights of Southerners.

Oh and by the way Didact Australia has been paying Indonesia billions over the years, calling it aid. It is very similar to how the whites buy out the blacks with welfare to stop the violence. Our politicians do it to stop the threat of war. No different to the Romans buying off the Barbarians. Anyway here is 2 links to the aid we give them in 2019 to 2020 (it has be going on since the 70s) abc.net.au/news/2018-10-18/how-is-indonesia-spending-australias-taxpayers-money/10381466 smh.com.au/world/asia/poverty-racked-indonesia-to-launch-pacific-focused-aid-program-20191021-p532ur.html Also if you are interested check out East Timor and that conflict. Since I don't know much about West Papua I know that the Left in both Australia and Portugal sold out East Timor and allow the invasion by the Indonesians. It wasn't unitl australia got a Right leader and pressure the Indonesians with the risk of war and aiding the Timors, that Indonesians withdraw. smh.com.au/politics/federal/don-t-mention-the-war-why-canberra-suppresses-the-story-of-east-timor-20191121-p53cnr.html en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesian_invasion_of_East_Timor I hate the left the more i read.
I can only hope that TGE is waiting for things to get so bad that the blue s-hole officials in the throes of TDS BEG him to save them from themselves, and then he'll send in the Astra Militarum and save them good and hard.

This showed up on my feed this morning and had me in stitches. It's a hoot if you're a fan of both Halo and Ghosts 'n Goblins.

I played through the first mission of H5:G. I'm finding plenty to nitpick about the story, but I don't totally hate it. Compared to Elites, Brutes and H4 Knights, Soldiers are kind of chumps.
