The Marines won't need this version because they'll be flying the former F-35 Turduckencopter with adjustable flaperons in a central rotor configuration in its new role as a carrier-based flak catcher meant to protect the Glass Bottomed Boats that the Navy will eventually be ordering.

The JCS will believe that the Turduckenfleet with their ability to avoid the S400 missile systems happens to be the "best of breed" …

As long as the breed is a duck, and the only thing you're shooting at them happens to be the S400, then they're probably perfectly fine. 🙂

My favorite scary example, because of our inability to source tritium, the US is 15 years or so from no longer being a nuclear power.

I wasn't aware of that. Would you mind pointing me to a couple of sources about the issue? I'd be interested to know more.

And note AFAIK we've made zero progress on the issue in the decade or so its been on the table either.
