Yes, they did make things considerably more confusing with their heuristic, and indeed their advice is quite damaging in a lot of ways. The funny thing about most PUAs is that their highly simplified approach to the purely sexual hierarchy makes them almost completely blind to the social aspect, which is evidently one of the reasons why most of them fail so miserably and repeatedly in actual relationships with real women, as well as in everyday life.

"Be alpha or die!!!" Bullshit. There's nothing wrong with being a bravo or Delta….if that is what your skillset and temperament are suited for. Where we get in trouble is punching either above or below our station. We are meant to use the talents God gave us, not chase after blind ambition or engage in cowardice.
