In reply to JohnC911. That's partly true, but in fact the Hindu majority manages the Muslim minority through threatened (and often actual) acts of extreme physical violence and brutality. I'll explain in more detail whenever I get the chance to write the follow-up post. The conflict with Pakistan only partly explains why Christianity has never made much headway into India; in reality, Hindus only convert from Hinduism under threat of force, and that's the only reason why Islam made significant headway there.

In reply to JohnC911. Thanks Didact. Yes I did not think the answer would be positive on the India side, though I was hoping. Also with the conflict with Islam (mainly coming from Pakistan) probably strengthen Hinduism, Indian traditions and of course Nationalism.

Yeah I had to do a double-take with that one too. The Chinese love people from other religions – they make terrific involuntary guinea pigs and organ donors.

Close to nil. I'll have to explain why in a longer post, it's not a simple one-shot answer. The quick version is that Christians have been trying to make a case for conversion in India for two thousand years ever since the Apostle Thomas landed up somewhere in Kerala (supposedly). It hasn't worked because of the total incompatibilities between Hindus and Christians. Where it has "worked", Christianity has taken on a distinctly idol-worshipping flavour which is decidedly anti-Christian and totally non-Scriptural.

Can see the shift in the world. From the video of the christian population, it looks like the shift of Christianity is to the east. It would not surprise if China in the future has the largest population of Christians. Frankly that would shock the world more than Islam being the world largest religion. As the west falls (for now) and rebirth happens in the east, it is an amazing time to be alive.

Dammit, DB! I just ate dinner!!!

And yeah, actually that's pretty much what I DO have to deal with, every day. I've been here nearly 15 months, on and off, and in all of that time, I've seen less than 5 women that could possibly be thought of as 6s. Never mind finding anything better than that. Doesn't exist.

So yeah, Eastern Europeans and Colombians and blonde beach babes all the way.
