I've played around with various flavours of LINUX. I prefer KDE so I've used both Kubuntu and Linux Mint. I really like them . If I had the money to buy a refurbished computer, I'd install Linux Mint KDE and use that as my work computer.

My only grumbling is that while Libreoffice has massively improved since the days of Star office 5, I still prefer Wordperfect. And I've been gripping like a pitbull on crystal meth to have a new version for both 32 and 64 bit Linux. 🙂

Unless it is directly Linux related it will be cheaper to run Windows as that what most office monkeys are used to. (Amazing how quickly people can learn to use their new iphone, but can whine for years on getting used to a new Windows or Office version.)
