President Trump announced his pick for retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy’s seat, and it looks like, once again, the God-Emperor has delivered a resounding victory to his legions of followers:
President Trump nominated appeals court judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court Monday night to replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy, ending a days-long guessing game that began the moment Kennedy announced his retirement and setting the stage for a grueling confirmation fight.
In televised remarks from the East Room of the White House, the president praised what he called Kavanaugh’s “impeccable credentials, unsurpassed qualifications and a proven commitment to equal justice under the law.”
“There is no one in America more qualified for this position, and no one more deserving,” Trump said.President Trump nominates Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

“There is no one in America more qualified for this position, and no one more deserving,” Trump said. Kavanaugh had been considered a front-runner ever since Kennedy’s June 27 retirement announcement. Trump conducted a swift and decisive vetting process, eager to push for confirmation of his second Supreme Court pick in less than two years.
Though the president said Monday his nominee deserves “robust bipartisan support,” many Democratic lawmakers had vowed even before the announcement to oppose Trump’s choice. In his own remarks, Kavanaugh looked ahead to what’s expected to be a bruising confirmation fight: “I will tell each senator that I revere the Constitution. I believe that an independent judiciary is the crown jewel of our constitutional republic.
“If confirmed by the Senate, I will keep an open mind in every case, and I will always strive to preserve the Constitution of the United States and the American rule of law.”
He said a judge “must interpret the law, not make the law.
It would appear that the God-Emperor is a hardcore reader of Chateau Heartiste as well.
Everything that I have seen of Judge Kavanaugh indicates that he is a sensible, rock-ribbed law-and-order type who insists on telling it like it is. His Second Amendment ruling following the landmark DC v Heller case apparently involved something like 50 pages of extremely close textual and historical analysis – similar to the manner in which Justice Scalia, God rest him, wrote his majority opinion in the case.
And he calls illegal aliens exactly that in his judgments on immigration.
Add to that the fact that Judge Kavanaugh is a family man with a pretty wife and two daughters – no adopted or “mystery-meat” kids of any kind to be seen anywhere – and it would appear that the God-Emperor has chosen exceptionally well.
Just like he did with Justice Gorsuch – who has so far proven to be almost every bit the originalist as his illustrious predecessor.
Oh yeah – apparently Judge Kavanaugh also once called The Bitch exactly that.
I tell you what, it’s enough to make even the most devoted shitlord feel just a wee bit tired of all the winning.
Wait – did I just say I was getting tired of all the winning?
PSYCH!!!
Of course I’m not tired yet! And neither is anyone else who reads this.
Now, obviously, it is by no means certain that we will actually get a “Justice Kavanaugh” on the Supreme Court of the United States. His nomination has to be cleared through the Senate, and the Democrats – the Party of the Evil and the Stupid – have sworn to fight to the last… er… non-binary trans-pixie whatsit, I suppose… and die facing in the same direction in order to oppose the God-Emperor’s plans.
Add to that the fact that the Republicans in the Senate are mostly useless these days, and it would appear that the President is going to have a very, very tough fight on his hands.
It’s a good thing, then, that this President relishes a good fight.
Two further thoughts spring to mind concerning this bit of good news.
First – as several people have commented here over the last few months, President Trump is an inspiration to all of us. He loves a good fight. He loves a challenge. He keeps getting hit with bigger and scarier challenges – and he almost never backs down or gives up. (His caving on that horrible omnibus spending bill was a notable exception to this.)
I admire this President tremendously. I have never seen anything like him in modern politics. He is the only genuine outsider to ascend to the most powerful office in the land in nearly 40 years – not since President Reagan have we seen someone even remotely close to Donald John Trump.
Even Sarah Palin, another “outsider”, was in fact a politician for a long time before she became the dark-horse VP pick during John McCain’s snooze-fest of a campaign in 2008.
This President has turned the world upside down – and he has only just gotten started.
Actually, it must be kept in mind that he is merely the most visible (and orange) manifestation of a much bigger and broader movement. He himself is merely the instrument of the people who put him in power – and he knows it. But he has proven himself to be truly and astonishingly effective.
The reign of the God-Emperor has proven to be even more full of #WINNING than he himself predicted. Long may that continue.
And second – to all of the liberaltards screaming their heads off about how this is the end of their (invented) right to abortion, it is worth keeping one simple fact in mind.
If Roe v Wade – that horrendous, astonishingly badly reasoned, criminally incompetent, and monumentally stupid bit of blithering idiocy from the pen of Justice Harry Blackmun – is overturned tomorrow, what will immediately change with respect to abortion “rights” in the USA?
Precisely nothing.
Roe v Wade was so badly reasoned that Justice Blackmun himself repudiated parts of his own judgement a few weeks later in another decision. But all it does is invent a Constitutionally guaranteed right to abortion through “emanations and penumbras” – Lord, but I hate that phrase – that somehow, through extremely tortuous “logic”, link property and privacy rights with a woman’s uterus.
If all of that were scrapped tomorrow, this would have exactly zero impact on Federal, State, and local laws concerning a woman’s “right to choose” – which is to say, her “right” to kill a completely innocent but not fully formed human being.
There are several people with law degrees who read this blog – including a certain Excruciator Majoris of the Evil Legion of Evil who likes to spend his free time figuring out the best way to crucify, guillotine, decimate, and otherwise “educate” liberals and idiots everywhere – who can tell us about the consequences of getting rid of that abortion (see what I did there?) of a decision better than I can. And I suspect that they would all say pretty much the same thing:
Overturning Roe v Wade would not outlaw abortion at the Federal level.
It would simply return power back to the States to make their own decisions about whether or not abortions should be supported by public money, or outlawed entirely.
And that is how it should be.
Let’s be very clear about one thing: abortion is murder. Pure and simple. A woman can claim whatever she likes about the “sanctity” of her womb and her body – the fact is that she is killing a child in the process.
As for the ridiculous argument that rape victims should be allowed to abort the babies of their rapists – let me ask them this: you were the innocent victim of a rapist, yes? Why, then, do you insist on killing someone who is even more innocent than you?
Surely the fact that you are taking an innocent life to expunge the consequences of a wretched and terrible crime makes you morally worse than the rapist who hurt you.
In the end, what matters here is that President Trump has kept his promises. He has done right by us, his supporters. He has done right by the American people – though obviously roughly 35% of the country begs to differ, in its usual tolerant and open-minded way. He has done right by Western civilisation.
When the Supreme Dark Lord (PBUH) proclaimed, after Justice Gorsuch’s confirmation, that President Trump would go down in history as a greater President than Saint Reagan of the Right, I thought he was being overly hyperbolic. But now I see that I was wrong.
The God-Emperor’s reign is a blessing for all of us. Long may it last.

Roe vs wade was an unconstitutional decision that only held up due to another unconstituional decision… The 'right to privacy'.
While I believe firmly in the right to privacy, it does NOT need to be federally mandated. And in some places, such as Urban centers, it is utterly ridiculous to expect or demand privacy.
Local privacy laws matter, and international privacy laws matter… and guess what? International privacy laws are a joke.
