One absolutely, positively, does not mess with a man whose mustache and eyebrows alone break all known records for epicness.

I grew up on a steady diet of Kipling too. The Jungle Book was, and still is, my go-to bedtime book. It was only later in life that I realised just how profound his writing really was, and it was only when I started looking at his poetry that I realised what a tremendous talent he had.

I take to posting a great Kipling poem once every month or so, just to remind myself of his skills and phenomenal output.

I grew up on Rudyard Kipling, both at home and in school. I read Ricky Ticky Tavi when I was little and then studied "If" and "Gunga Din" in school, along with some other stories and poems. There was quite a depth to his writing and to me,
To me, "If" still sums up bravery in life and what it truly means to be a man.
