I just watched her Ted Talk and I am horrified. Around the 4 minute mark, her example about men constructing buildings and the "feminist response of women giving birth to all humans" is NEITHER feminist nor accurate: men don't give birth, only women do. Men only construct buildings because women are seen as only good for giving birth, i.e. how many female architects do you know? It's a challenging field for anyone but more so for women. Cassie Jaye is no feminist – she is comparing a woman's body to a man's mind. That's exactly what sexism is (and what is at the heart of the men's rights movement). Looks like she got brainwashed.

Also men's rights is the underbelly to white supremacy and defined by The Southern Poverty Center as a hate group.

Oh my god she still keeps going. Men are not abused at the same rate as women! This is horrible! How is this woman?? Every three days a woman dies in this country due to domestic violence. The same is not true for men. Also, didn't she just say how only men could build buildings (I guess because she thinks they are stronger than women yet she's going to believe that women physically hurt men at the same rate? I haven't watched this degree of hypocrisy from a "feminist" I don't know, ever. I can't even believe Ted would put this right-wing biased unresearched shit on.

Did she just refer to circumcision as "genital mutilation?" wtf? (around 9 min mark). Genital mutilation is the forceful and totally unnecessary removal of a girl's clitoris so she can't experience sexual pleasure. These are NOT the same things. I am horrified this woman is allowed to say this crap that's completely untrue and further enables women around the world to be treated like garbage because some guy once was accused of rape to the MILLIONS of women whose lives are ruined because they were raped.

As a survivor of sexual assault, I would much rather be falsely accused of something than experience what I experienced. To put these in the same category in unconscionable

I finished reading it a few days ago and will post up a review of it shortly. I found it both very dark and very enlightening, it provided a very different and powerful perspective on the Laws of War and how they apply to the rest of a man's life.

Thank you for the compliment since I started redonkulas.com I have been compared to just about every negative term there is. I am by far no beta or gamma male, I am far from an average male. I have walked a road most would call a nightmare and for some of it, it was, but threw it all, no matter the pain or misery and very often both I found humor and comedy in the darkness. because nothing in the universe halts evil and terror like a deep belly laugh.
