“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Friday T&A: Only in it for the money Edition

A rather amusing story caught my eye the other day concerning an Instagram, er, “model” whose Russian billionaire oligarch husband bought her a truly gigantic diamond ring. Now, when I saw the picture of the two of them together in the article, I immediately thought what you’re thinking: “We all know what she wants from him”.

That being said, she has been married to the guy for 5 years, and he is a billionaire so hopefully he understands the value of a good lawyer and an airtight pre-nup. And, of course, none of this stops the rest of us from admiring a certain Ms. Ksenia Tsaritsina’s epic… assets.

And, make no mistake, she is stunning.

Now, we are coming up on Memorial Day- in my opinion the second most important public holiday in the American calendar, right after Independence Day. And it seems appropriate to me to end this particular week’s T&A segment on a high note.

The pictures above are certainly fun to look at, but they just remind us all of what women can and will do for money. But sometimes, it is possible to find a picture of a woman who reminds every man who looks at it just how breathtaking a truly feminine woman can be.

So here is this year’s Ms. Russia:

I very nearly fell out of my chair when I saw that this morning. She isn’t merely physically attractive. She looks… angelic.

She may well be a horrible person in real life (though I seriously doubt it). But that picture is the kind that turns a dreary day bright again.

There are very, very few women anywhere on Earth about whom that can be said. But that is the kind of reaction that women everywhere should aspire to produce in men.

Happy Friday, gents. Crack open a beer and raise a toast to the fallen who gave their lives for this country, and for their loved ones who bear the burden of that grief.
