The left really is stuck on stupid, aren't they? Executive or judicial fiat cannot make changes to the U.S. Constitution, period. Constitutional Amendments can only be added with the approval of 2/3 of Congress and 3/4 of states to ratify it. That means at least 38 states must agree on an Amendment or it will not happen.

Go on, libs; sit down and work out which 38 states you think are willing to permanently give up their means to have a say in choosing the country's Commander in Chief, just so we can make sure that New York, California and Illinois are always satisfied with the outcome of every presidential election.

Actually, whether or not one breaks out, "civil" will be the last thing it will be.

That said, as I recall, they've repeatedly slammed the electoral college – now and after 2000 as well. Nevermind that it means the electoral college did exactly, as Razorfist pointed out, what it was designed to do.

Other than that, as always, great writing.
