Damn, that makes me pissed off that I can't see this show in Australia (Amazon prime is useless here.

As for the BBC not getting the point of the old show – of course not. They're SJWs, they don't *have* a sense of humour. 😛

I still don't know which part of that episode was "the best"- the epic intro, the hilarious celebrity kill-offs, the mock-fights with the audience, or the sight of seeing three insane hypercars burning rubber around a track in Portugal in glorious 4K resolution. The Beeb top brass must be changing their underwear every few hours at this point.

In reply to Kapios. That intro was just epic. I loved it. I also particularly liked that bit about the Royal Air Force, which resulted in a (highly staged) fight with the audience. That was hysterically funny.

1) They trolled the fuck out of BBC which was awesome.
2) Jeremy Clarkson should have chosen different tyres for the P1
3) The show was much better than any of their old top gear because they were not restrained at all

Loved, loved, loved the new episode.

The opening even topped the dover-cliffs finale of the Jaguar anniversary episode – which still has the best no-word answer to why an anniversary-edition jaguar sportster at a near order of magnitude more than buying an original, was a better value.
