Yep. Like I said, the opponents of freedom will do everything they can to stop the UK from exercising its rights as a sovereign nation and people. Nothing surprising about that.

Their perfidy is worse than we thought. That petition is now 3 million signatures strong, and growing- but it has gotten there through blatant fraud and deceit.

This is not surprising, of course. But it DOES mean that Britain needs to GTFO of the EU as fast as it possibly can, before the turncoats and cowards in the Conservative Party decide to backtrack completely on their promises to their Leave supporters.

Well, this certainly has to hurt those 'tranzies' you talk about.
I blame star trek for all the stupid geeks among an otherwise intelligent demographic.
May Gene Roddenberry burn in hell. TOS would have been made without him.

I have been reading that the leftists in the UK have petitioned for a 2nd referendum. There are over 2 million signatures now and parlement may debate it. If that is so, will the vote of the British public be voided and the politicians have a 2nd referendum whose outcome will be to there liking? If that is the case, will any of these EU countries ever be able to get out of the clutches of this evil bureaucracy?

I posted this to FB and Baen's Bar, but you may like it as well:

It hit me the other day, something that was so obvious and yet I'd not actually grasped the core of the thing. For a variety of reasons and instincts, many of them worthy if not adequate, there is a large block of folks who want a world government.

Socialism having failed to create a world government, and having failed miserably, attempted world conquest having failed, and miserably, the never-sufficiently-to-be-damned UN having failed, what was left? And forget Gramsci’s long march through the institutions; that can destroy but not build.

What is left is to create a denationalized world ruling class and support class, and world government will follow. I don’t think it’s a plot, actually, people are notoriously incompetent plotters, and certainly incompetent at this scale of plotting. Rather, it’s a consensus (which I think I already defined for you but, if not, a consensus arises when similar people, from similar backgrounds and educations, see similar problems, issues, and opportunities, similarly, and independently come up with similar solutions and approaches).

That world governing class just took a little shot to the nuts. I hope it is the first of many, O, many.
