Some people just like to hear themselves talk. They think by talking, whereas we think before talking.

I used to have a colleague like that. He couldn't shut up. The fastest way to make him miserable was to simply have everyone ignore him. He would end up plugging in his headphones and listening to electronica at such loud volumes that you could hear it from twenty feet away.
