That is pretty much how I expect it to play out. The great benefit of these machines will be the utter destruction of the entire feminist ideology. The great drawback will be the concurrent destruction of whatever remains of the male desire to procreate in most advanced societies. I'm not at all convinced that the upside truly outweighs the downside.

Fertility rates are low, men have completely checked out of the dating and sexual markets and have no interest in starting families. They'd much rather enjoy the pleasures of porn and everything else Japan has to offer there. Introducing sexbots into the mix will only accelerate a rapidly deteriorating situation, as you say. This decay will be especially rapid in Japan unless something changes.
