By the same token, I believe that a country that sends women to fight in the frontlines is pretty messed up as well. I was reading in one of the British papers that women in the British military will be eligible to join the infantry in 2015!!! One of the retired British army generals said that physical standards will have to be lowered in order to accommodate them. There went one of the last male bastions where men were allowed to function unhindered by PC garbage.

It is indeed idiotic- and it will get both good men and good women killed, in the name of being "correct". I wrote at length about it here.

I have read that these women PKK fighters are very fierce and makes me wonder how they stand up to the rigours of war?

I will admit one thing: it is much easier for women to perform guerrilla or raid warfare- also known in some cases as 4th Generation War- than it is for them to perform in the currently proposed standard line infantry roles. This is because raid warfare, which relies on highly mobile and lightly armed skirmish forces using terrain and cover to maximum advantage to outmaneouvre an enemy, doesn't need much by way of brute strength or supply lines. By contrast, shock or assault warfare, for which Western militaries train, require both physical endurance and strength.

There was an initial surge of an influx of female students and women bullfighters became a staple in the ring until recently when Spain banned the sport as inhumane and cruel.

It's a shame that they did. I don't have any particular objections to bullfighting; I see it for what it is- athletic artistry. Yes, it's cruel and brutal and bloody and nasty, but then so is an abbatoir. At least with a bullfight you get a show along with your burger.

One of the retired British army generals said that physical standards will have to be lowered in order to accommodate them. There went one of the last male bastions where men were allowed to function unhindered by PC garbage. I cannot understand why a country should send their women to war unless there is a dire shortage of men to fill those roles or the country has a very small population and every person is a valuable soul required for the war effort. I have sometimes wondered about the women who are fighting for the Kurdish Peshmarga. Are they in battle because they need every person to contribute to the war effort or is it partly feminism? I have read that these women PKK fighters are very fierce and makes me wonder how they stand up to the rigours of war? Since women are required for the propagation of the species, who then will be left to do just that in a country where the women have been sent to the frontlines?
Getting back to bullfighting, I recall in the late 80's and into the 90's, Spain was at the forefront of putting women in the bullfighting ring after feminists were successful in convincing the Spanish courts to overturn the ban placed on them entering bullfighting schools. There was an initial surge of an influx of female students and women bullfighters became a staple in the ring until recently when Spain banned the sport as inhumane and cruel.
